Adventures in Patagonia

It has been a whirlwind of a year with the first couple of months of 2016  having already passed us by. The end of my 2015 included an amazing trip to Patagonia with my husband, Tony. As it has been a few weeks since our last post, I thought it would be a great opportunity to share some highlights from our adventures at the edge of the world....
The Welcoming Andes Mountains

The Adventure begins

Last Chilean village before we head to the edge of the world

We follow the Andes South into the wild

Guanaco- cousin to llama and alpaca

The weather changes fast- the fog rolls in

Caracara Falcon- Majestic hunter

On the Water- Next to Huge Glaciers!  Awe-inspiring!

Too big to really express- These Glaciers are enormous & loud!

Patagonia is a land of extremes- including lovely forested creeks

Magellanic Penguins- Parents and their sweet chick!

The expansive view of sky and mountain- incredible!

Ushuaia, Argentina- The Southernmost city in South America & Gateway to Tierra del Fuego

We Made it to the Land of Fire! (Tierra del Feugo)

Antarctica is that way!

We have come as far south as we can in South America-  what a great adventure!

I hope you enjoyed these photos from our travels in South America. We will soon have a new Travel Snapshot album with even more to view. If you are ready to head south, I'd love to share my stories and tips on what to do and where to go! For a small fee I can help you plan a Patagonia Adventure of a lifetime!  Call or email me today: 503-658-5646; cptrips@aol.com
